All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost… – J.R.R. Tolkien

Hello reader! Thank you for joining me on my adventures. Here’s what you need to know about me if you’re skeptic or just curious!

Who Am I & Why A Travel Blog

20180713_163733My name? Lilly. Well, it’s actually my nickname, because hardly anybody calls by my real surname anymore. I am a young French woman of 24, recently graduated jurist or legal consultant, soon to be an in-house lawyer.

Although I’m currently living near Paris, France, I’ll be leaving for Asia in a couple months, to start my new expatriate life in a city that I’m keeping for myself until then! But this isn’t the first time I’ll be living abroad, as I’ve spent 2 wonderful years studying law in Dublin, Ireland. I also did a World Tour this last summer 2018, and wandered through the United States, Japan, and Southeast Asia for about a month. You can read all about it in my Travel Log section and my World Tour series!

I love traveling, always have, and I have accumulated quite a lot of knowledge throughout the years, which I think it would be unfair not to share! 🙂

Why Should You Read & Subscribe To My Blog

I give honest opinions and reviews about everything and anything travel-related, whether it be the destinations themselves, customs, culture shocks, guides, books, blogs, videos, movies, TV shows…

Also, for all my anglophone readers out there, maybe it’s kind of interesting to read about those things from a French point-of-view, although I’m not sure whether traveling so much hasn’t had an impact on my point-of-view… in fact this may well become a topic on this blog!

Also, as I plan on living as an expatriate anywhere my work will take me, this platform will obviously serve as a priceless window on my life for my family & friends from France and elsewhere!
